Meet Dr. Eric Combs
Dr. Combs was born and raised in Middletown, OH and graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in 2003. Eric then graduated from The Ohio State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Business Minor. After undergraduate schooling, Eric lived in Memphis, TN where he obtained a Doctorate of Optometry in 2011 from Southern College of Optometry. Since completing optometry school, Eric joined in practice with Dr. Donald Henderson who has since retired. Eric now continues to practice in his hometown of Middletown.

In his free time, Dr. Combs enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel and their three little girls, traveling and seeing/playing live music!

Our experienced optometrist can provide you with thorough eye evaluations, determine if you need corrective lenses and your exact prescription strength, fit you with the appropriate specialty eyewear, and help you pick out the most flattering pair of glasses for your face shape and skin tone.

Our new patient appointments always begin with a comprehensive eye exam. If you are unsure of your family’s eye health history, it’s helpful to research beforehand, so we can better evaluate your own eye health. If you have never had a comprehensive exam, don’t worry! All the tests and exercises are simple and painless.

Dr. Eric Combs can diagnose and treat eye diseases and identify general eye health problems including diabetes, anemia, high blood pressure, and others. We can also test for and fit specialty eyewear for sports, occupations, other activities and hobbies, and safety glasses.
We can answer your questions about optometry services, our eye care practice, eye health products, and more.
Ocular Care
We can assist with and treat a wide variety of medical issues of pink eye, sore eyes, red eyes and removal of foreign bodies from the eye.
Lasik Consults
We perform pre-operative and post-operative LASIK evaluations and co-manage LASIK care with all local LASIK groups.
Eye Exams
We offer comprehensive eye exams and use the latest eye care technology. We also offer complete pediatric eye exams and diabetic eye exams.
Cataracts
We diagnose and evaluate cataracts. We help our patients to care for their cataracts by co-managing their treatment with renowned local ophthalmological groups.
Dry Eyes
Dry eyes result from lack of moisture on the surface of the eye, often leading to discomfort. We can help you manage and treat chronic and acute dry eyes.
Glaucoma & Macular Degeneration
We help in the management and treatment of glaucoma and macular degeneration by working with the best local retinal and macular specialist.
